How important are the electrical wire and cable companies to the world?
Well, despite the fact that all communication on the planet goes through wire at some point in its journey, all electrical power goes through wire and cable and all petroleum products are refined with electricity, we talk about the world as having a petroleum economy. Without electricity however we would be back in a totally agrarian lifestyle with a much smaller world population. Something to think about once in a while! We thought you might like to see this NASA compilation of the lights of Earth, keeping in mind that every one of these lights is connected by wire and cable. |

| To find a company web site, just click on the the first letter of the company name below. If the first name of the company starts with a simple word such as "The" or "A", that word is not included in the alphabetical matrix. Likewise go for the name of the wire and cable company rather than the name of the holding company. As a rule though, the holding companies are included in the database. |
